All eligible families can access a minimum of 72 hours (6 days) of subsidised childcare per fortnight regardless of activity test requirements such as work, study, or volunteering.
What is the Child Care Subsidy?
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment from the Australian Government that helps reduce childcare fees for eligible families. The subsidy is paid directly to approved childcare providers like Bilbies ELC & Kinder. It reduces the daily fees you pay for your child’s care.
Your subsidy amount is based on:

- Activity level (work, study, volunteering, etc.)

Who can access CCS?
To be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy:
- Care must be provided by an approved service like Bilbies ELC & Kinder
- Your child must meet immunisation requirements
- You must be responsible for childcare fee payments
- Residency requirements must be met

How is Childcare Subsidy Calculated?
Your Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is based on several factors, including your family circumstances. Two of the main factors are:
Family Income
Your combined annual family income helps determine the percentage of subsidy you may receive.

Activity Level
